Terms of service

The basis on which we provide career advisory and recruitment support services.

These terms

These terms apply to services provided by D & P Consulting Limited (Company No. 16205623), referred to here as “we” or “us”. By engaging us you accept them. If you would like different terms, tell us before work starts and we will agree them in writing.

Scope and confirmation

Every engagement starts with a written confirmation covering what we will do, the format and frequency of sessions, the expected timescale and the cost.

Work outside that description is a separate engagement and will be quoted separately.

We may decline an engagement, or stop one already in progress, if continuing would require us to misrepresent your experience or an opportunity.

Fees and payment

Fees are quoted in euros, either per session or per project, and are confirmed in writing before work begins.

Unless agreed otherwise, invoices are payable within 14 days. Where fees are payable in stages, the next stage starts when the previous invoice is settled.

Prices shown or discussed are exclusive of any taxes that may apply.

For business clients we may agree volume or retained arrangements in writing.

Scheduling, changes and cancellation

Sessions are booked in advance. If you need to move a session, tell us at least 24 hours beforehand and we will rearrange it at no cost.

A session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, may be charged in full.

If we have to move a session we will offer an alternative time and, where that is not possible, we will not charge for it.

For project work, either side may end the engagement in writing; you pay for work completed up to that point.

Refunds

Fees for work already carried out are not refundable. Where you have paid in advance for work we have not started, we will refund it. If you are a consumer in the European Union you may also have statutory rights of withdrawal; nothing in these terms removes them.

What we do not promise

We do not guarantee an interview, a job offer, a hire, a particular salary or a particular timescale.

We do not guarantee the accuracy of information about a role or a candidate that has been given to us by someone else.

Any suggestion of a direction, a role or a candidate is our professional view, not a commitment or a recommendation to hire.

Your responsibilities

You agree to give us information that is accurate and complete, and to tell us promptly if something changes.

You agree that documents you send us are your own, or that you have the right to share them.

If you are engaging us as a business, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

Liability

We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Complaints

If something has gone wrong, tell us first at service@dpjobconsulting.services and we will try to put it right. We will acknowledge a complaint within five working days and respond fully within 20 working days.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which D & P Consulting Limited is registered, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, this does not affect the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
